Deep, dark and full-bodied with blackberries, black pepper and cloves. Alibernet was bred in Odesa in 1950 by crossing Alicante Bouschet with Cabernet Sauvignon, and has become something of a Slovak speciality: intense colour and a distinctly Cabernet-like character. For bold red lovers.
