Old-vine Saperavi fermented on skins in buried qvevri and matured a further six months in clay. Deep ruby with a violet core: ripe plum, black cherry and blackberry compote, cocoa and warm spice over supple tannin and a long dark-fruited finish. From Shilda's Rustaveli range, named for Georgia's great medieval poet.
