The Allegrini family's Bolgheri estate, with vineyards right next to Ornellaia. Il Seggio is named after the stream that runs through the area (its course is drawn on the label). A Merlot-led Bordeaux-style blend: red and black berries, tobacco leaf and spice, with silky tannins and a fresh finish. Super Tuscan polish at a fair price.
