Melnik 55 is a modern Bulgarian crossing of the indigenous Broad-leaved Melnik with Valdiguié, grown in the sun-drenched Struma Valley. Black cherry, sweet spice and tobacco with silky tannins and a rich, persistent finish. Aged 12 months in French oak. A fascinating discovery.
