Luke Lambert's Nebbiolo is widely regarded as Australia's benchmark for the grape. From a granite-soiled block on the Denton vineyard in the Yarra Valley, wild-fermented, aged in large oak and bottled unfiltered. Dark cherry, raspberry and dried roses with tar, anise and graphite, held by fine, firm tannins. Give it a decant and something rich alongside.
