From the dry-grown Stranger's Reach vineyard on the Fleurieu Peninsula, cooled by the Southern Ocean. Hand-picked, basket-pressed and aged mostly in older French oak, bottled unfined and unfiltered. Blackcurrant, plum and a lick of tobacco and cedar, with the round, powdery tannins of good Cabernet. One for steak night.
