Adi Badenhorst is one of the leading lights of the Swartland, farming old dry-grown bush vines on the Paardeberg. Secateurs is his everyday Chenin: wild-fermented in old casks, concrete and steel, with plenty of time on its lees. Peach, apple, orange blossom and honey with a flinty, salty edge. A brilliant all-rounder; try it with pork or roast squash.
